You Are Welcome

God’s Word Christ-likeness Fellowship online ministries are designed to provide a “hearing of faith”. The Holy Spirit is our persuasion who convinces us that God promises to give the Spirit and to work miracles at the hearing of faith (Galatians 3:2, 5 KJV). The plan is to utilize multimedia and Internet technology to engage you. And the Holy Spirit again is our persuasion who convinces us that if you consider the things that we say, the Lord gives you understanding in all things (2 Timothy 2:7). I believe that we are only servants that speak in the natural world. However, the Holy Spirit takes what we say and utilizes it to impart knowledge on everything, and the anointing is the Lord who gives you understanding (Proverbs 2:6; John 14:24-26; 1 John 2:26-27).

God’s Holy Son Speaks…

As some of you may know, Jesus is God’s Holy Son who lives in heaven, seated at the right hand of God in heaven (Colossians 3:1). Without leaving heaven. Jesus continues to speak to us on earth (in the natural world) by the Holy Spirit. It is said that “talk is cheap”, but not so, when it comes to the testimony of Christ Jesus, testifying by the Holy Spirit. The Power of his word completes the word he speaks, so that all he needs to do is speak the word, and people are cured. The word testified by the Holy Spirit is the same as the testimony of Christ Jesus, so we look to the word going forth out of the mouth of the Holy Spirit to find the word going forth out of the Lord’s mouth. And when we make that observation, we also take possession of the Power of God that makes the Lord’s word not return to him void, but accomplishes the thing that he sends it to do (Isaiah 55:10-11).

Hearing-of-Faith is Two-Way

The hearing-of-faith environment is not just one way, but two-way. Not only do we have to speak words of faith, but, before it becomes “saving faith”, the hearer has to also see God’s Son speaking the word of faith. That’s because “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). So, at the hearing of faith, God promises to give the spirit and to work miracles, but how can it be a genuine “hearing of faith” unless both the speaker and the hearer have the “faith to be healed”? (Acts 14:9; Matthew 15:28; Mark 5:34, 10:52; Luke 4:48; Acts 3:16). So, a real “hearing of faith” includes the hearer who has the eyes to see God’s Holy Son (the Lord Jesus) speaking God’s Word of faith, which the hearer hears. Nevertheless, God is merciful and through his mercy, patiently awaits while we mature into people that are more spiritual and more like God himself, who is Spirit (John 4:24).

Testimony That Cures Us!

The word that goes forth out of the mouth of the Lord relates to the Power of the Lord, which can cure our sin-sickness (Isaiah 55:12). The Lord is invisible and, by looking to the word spoken by the natural man alone, we cannot see the word going forth out of the mouth of the Lord. Instead, we need to look to the testimony of the Holy Spirit to see the testimony that goes forth out of the mouth of the Lord. When we see the Word that goes forth out of the mouth of the Lord, then we also see the Power that cures our sin-sickness. And when we walk in that Power, we are walking by “the faith of God’s Son” and healed of our sin-sickness by the Power of faith in God.

The great miracle of salvation brings the healing to the sin-sick soul. How can it be that the God of creation would consider the low estate of mankind in total rebellion to his creator. Nevertheless, the Bible confirms God's sovereign mercy to save those He elects. We want the Lord but on our terms...that is the nature of man. God saves us in spite of ourselves. With His stripes we are healed. Praise the Lord.

the elect are those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. (Rev. 13:8)  The elect are those predestined unto the adoption of children by the Lord Jesus. (Eph. 1:5) The elect are the children of promise. (Rom. 9:8)  The elect are not deceived by Satan and his emissaries. (Matt.24:24)  We can know we are elect when we have an abiding trust in the Word of God and our every being seeks only to be obedient to His commandments.  (John 14:26 & 27)
