About us

all about usGod’s Word Christ-likeness Fellowship online (gwcfo) is a multifaceted gospel ministry. The gwcfo ministries are established to work to engage people in discussions on God’s gospel of Christ (God’s Son). We invite our visitors to participate because our interaction will stimulate mutual edification. We are like students involved in continued education, and eager to learn more about God’s saving Power through our Lord, Jesus Christ. By the Power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord teaches us to make our effort, not for self-glory, but for the honor of the one who sends us and gives us our duty to do—Christ the Lord Jesus (Luke 2:10-11). To that end, we encourage our visitors to look beyond us to the Holy Spirit, because we have learned to recognize that the Lord is present, among and with, us by the Holy Spirit. And since we can see God’s Holy Son speaking when we look to the Holy Spirit, then we also see God, who sent His Son, speaking when we look to the same Holy Spirit.

I We believe Christ-likeness and Godliness are synonymous words, so we invite our visitors to participate in God’s grace to the glory of God the Father in heaven.

11For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works” (Titus 2:11-14 ESV).

By his grace, God conforms us into the image of His Son, just like he planned it.

29For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified” (Romans 8:29-30).
